A very frequently asked question:  You need to check with your state officials on this as a state reserves the right to write this law.  In Safe Boating Worlds opinion, an individual should be at least 16 years old to solo on a PWC.  Any individuals younger than 16 should be accompanied by a certified Adult on board the PWC with them.  Yes...on the PWC with them! 🙂

For starters the PWC and Safe Waterski live webinar exam is optional, and you are not obligated to take it.  There is no passing or failing.  We want you to become SMART out there.

VERY IMPORTANT:  This is not an official license, card, or certificate.  This is a safety webinar taught by professional instructors.  Check with your state for their official requirements to obtain any of the afforementioned.

In general, NASBLA governs boating on a national level, hence the acronym used for their title:  National Association of Safe Boating Law Administrators.  However, each state may have their own specific laws as well.  These law are written by the State and are custom for many reasons.  Both entities are overseen by the United States Coast Guard.

By all means...use the bathroom!!!  You are not monitored during the webinar.  🙂

Yes, in fact, the entire Live Webinar is presented in a slide show format. We use other enhancements and practices used to mix it up. You’ll see slides containing photos, graphics, charts, tables, and writing.  Really, just about everything from a to z.

No, you do not have to bring anything to the webinar.  You may want to take notes but that is entirely up to you.  We'll send you a Webinar Complete email with links to a bunch of stuff we talk about during the class.
